Who performs the work, and who is licensed for it
Orlando Water Damage Restoration operates a call line for water-damage reports in Orlando and Orange County. It is not a contractor, it does not perform mitigation, remediation or repair, and it holds no licence, registration or certification of its own. Every job is performed by an independent licensed local restoration company acting as the service partner for this area, and that company is the responsible party for the work it carries out.
The partner, not this Site, must hold whatever licences, permits and registrations Florida law requires for the work it undertakes, maintain its own liability and workers' compensation cover, pull any building or plumbing permit the job needs from the relevant city or county office, and answer to the issuing authority for its conduct. Mold assessment and mold remediation are licensed to individuals under Chapter 468, Part XVI, Florida Statutes and Rule 61-31, F.A.C.; Florida does not license mold businesses. Whether a particular mitigation task falls under contractor licensing in Chapter 489, F.S. is unsettled, and nothing on this Site should be read as a determination either way.
This Site has not audited, vetted or verified any partner's credentials and makes no representation that any licence is current or appropriate to your job. Licence details are available on request by calling (833) 490-5225, or from the firm that contacts you about scheduling; they are not printed here out of respect for that firm's privacy. Verification is yours to perform, through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation at myfloridalicense.com.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in Florida is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
